The Fitness Club Marketing Specialist home study course is for health and fitness club managers, instructors, training directors, and personal trainers. The course will teach you how to recruit a larger membership, how to keep members involved, and how to retain members.

Club managers and directors can benefit from the course in helping meet financial goals, having less downtime, improving staff productivity, and making the fitness center more successful.

The course is great for trainers and instructors wanting to increase their number of clients, and for trainers who have a goal to become training directors, managers, or open their own fitness training business.

The Fitness Club Marketing enrollee will learn 100+ ways to promote the facility's programs. Learning the niche markets and how to meet those customers' needs produces more clients. You'll even learn how to promote with special programs and events to keep members enrolled and to gain new members.

The CD-ROM included with the textbook helps you create support materials, invitations, etc. There's also a template to create promotional items such as T-shirts, buttons, and more.

Enrollment Requirements:

Must be at least 19 years of age in order to have had at least the required one year's experience as a regular member of a fitness center or as a personal trainer in a fitness center. You need experience with fitness programs and to have an outgoing personality.

Course and Exam:

The textbook with CD-ROM will be shipped to you within 5 working days by 3 day priority mail via the US Postal Service. The exam will be included in the shipment. It consists of true/false, short answers, and applications. A minimum score of 85 is required to receive certification. You have 12 months from the date of purchase to submit an exam. If you are not successful on the first exam, you have 2 more attempts at no additional cost within that 12 month enrollment period. We will email your exam score within 5 days of our receiving it in the mail.

Recertification:

Recertification is NOT required for the Fitness Club Marketing Specialist.
